Funding Opportunities
As part of its efforts to manage wild horses and burros on public lands and under BLM care in off-range facilities, the Wild Horse and Burro Program will issue solicitations for proposals to partner with the program or to provide various services to the program. Partnerships that provide a public good are typically funded through cooperative agreements (a form of grant), while services are typically procured through contracts. The program funds these agreements and services through a competitive solicitation process. Find examples of the partnerships that help support the BLM's mission to manage and protect wild horses and burros on public lands.
