The Bureau of Land Management will host a free webinar for organizations interested in applying for grant funding to support wild horse and burro management.
The webinar, titled “Navigating the Path to Wild Horse and Burro Grant Funding,” will provide valuable instruction for applying for funding through a BLM Notice of Funding Opportunity as well as an overview of BLM’s off-range, on-range and research priorities for future grant funding. The BLM anticipates releasing new notices of funding opportunities to support wild horse and burro management and research priorities in fiscal year 2024, which will be open to non-profit and government organizations, Tribes and universities. The BLM recently announced new grant recipients selected through a similar notice of funding opportunity released last fall.
The webinar will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mountain Time on Thursday, September 28 and will be hosted via Zoom. Advanced registration is required.
