Arcata Field Office

The Arcata Field Office is responsible for the administration of natural resources, lands, and mineral programs on over 200,000 acres of public land in Northwestern California. The Area includes the King Range National Conservation Area, Headwaters Forest Reserve and the Trinidad Gateway to the California Coastal National Monument.

5/18/2024 - The BLM is implementing new fees for recreation sites in the King Range National Conservation Area on the North Coast, and for the Steiner Flat and Ohl Olsen campgrounds managed by the Redding Field Office, to improve access to public lands, enhance public health and safety, and better protect natural resources.
