On Friday, September 27, 2024, the Bureau of Land Management's Lakeview District Office is hosting a National Public Lands Day event near Clover Flat from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Volunteers will help remove black henbane, an invasive and toxic species of plant that fiercely competes with native plants for water and other resources near Trickle Mountain in the San Luis Valley.
