Event Description
Join the Chaffee Rec Adopters and the BLM for a dispersed campsite cleanup along the Arkansas River for National Public Lands Day! We'll be venturing down the canyon and partnering with AHRA to do some dispersed camping clean up near Howard in popular riverside camping areas.
Volunteers will work with Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area staff to repair fence, clean fire rings and pick up trash in popular boating sites along the Arkansas River. Event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. For mor information, sign up here.
