Anchorage Field Office

The BLM Anchorage Field Office manages 23.6 million acres of public lands located throughout southcentral, southwest, and northwest Alaska.  The Nome Field Station is located on the Seward Peninsula, and is staffed year-round. Notable recreation opportunities include floating the Unalakleet Wild River, visiting the Iditarod National Historic Trail, and using the extensive trail network on Campbell Tract in Anchorage.

The BLM Campbell Tract is a 730 acre Special Recreation Management Area located in the heart of Alaska’s largest urban area, and provides outdoor recreation opportunities in a non-motorized natural setting year-round.
