Welcome to the Idaho Falls District Resource Advisory Council (RAC). This 15-member council provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on resource and land management issues for approximately 3.7 million acres of federal lands in southeastern Idaho. A wide array of land uses occur on the public lands within the Idaho Falls District BLM, which stretches from the Utah border north to Montana, west to Craters of the Moon and east to the Wyoming border. RAC members travel between each of BLM's four field offices to discuss issues pertinent to their respective locations.
