About Our Partners
BLM partnerships are truly cross-cutting, occurring at all levels of the agency and in key program areas, such as recreation, fire management, youth engagement, energy development, and conservation of fish, wildlife and cultural resources.
The BLM’s great array of partners – from national organizations, tribes, community associations, and volunteers to schools and educational institutions, friends groups, youth corps organizations, businesses, and other government agencies – provide invaluable support, helping the agency deliver opportunities to engage the public in conserving, enjoying and using appropriately the irreplaceable treasures across BLM-managed lands.
Underscoring the importance of working together with partners, the BLM’s partnerships program seeks to advance, strengthen, and support the use of partnerships nationally to improve the management, stewardship, and public enjoyment of the nation’s public lands.
Partner Videos
Did you know...Since 2006, the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes have been partnering with BLM to grow sagebrush and other native plants? The plants, which are grown in greenhouses by students from the Owyhee Combined School, will be used to restore areas on public lands devastated by wildfire.
