The Bureau of Land Management Montana/Dakotas is excited to launch its 2025 Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Event series with the Montana Kick-Off Adoption Event, May 2-4, 2025, at the Hamilton, Montana Training Facility.

Preview begins at 8 a.m. with the live auction starting at 9 a.m.; after auction, animals will be available first come, first served until 12 p.m. Up to 30 wild horses will be available.

The BLM will host a wild horse and burro placement event, offering a limited number of excess animals gathered from western rangelands, April 24-26, 2025, at the Garland County Fair Association in Hot Springs, AR.
