Across the rugged beauty of southwestern Arizona and southeastern California, a dedicated group of Long-Term Visitor Area volunteers quietly ensures that public lands remain welcoming, safe and accessible.

The Kingman Field Office partnered with the Cerbat Ridge Runners and Mohave County Park Police to remove more than a ton of trash from public lands along Hualapai Mountain Road.

Volunteer projects during popular Easter Jeep Safari result in delineated routes, protection of natural resources and improvement trails through the installation of 1200 feet of buck-and-rail fencing — eliminating confusion at obstacles or parking, staging and air-down areas.
