Silver Creek (North and South)
Overview
Two adjacent sites on Silver Creek near Highway 93, downstream of the Nature Conservancy’s Silver Creek Preserve. Silver Creek offers good trout fishing, picnicking and camping. Long camp trailers or RVs not recommended, limited turn around options.
Accessibility Description (ABA/ADA)
Silver Creek includes 3 camping sites, 1 in the northern part of the location and 2 in the southern part. The 2 south sites are more developed than the 1 north campsite. There are information kiosks in both sections. None of the sites have running water, and cell phone reception is good.
Both campsites in the southern section were built to be accessible. They share an accessible single vault toilet next to a concrete parking area. Both sites have accessible double-walled fire rings with grill attachments and covered picnic tables sitting on concrete. These tables have extended tops to accommodate wheelchair users. In addition, 1 of the south sites has an elevated tent pad.
The north campsite has an accessible single vault toilet next to a concrete parking pad and an uncovered picnic table sitting on natural surface. The site slopes down toward the creek, which may create challenges for mobility device users.
Note: Descriptions and photos uploaded March 2025. Please note that actual on-the-ground conditions may vary due to natural events (e.g., weather, wildfires, erosion), normal wear and tear, or site improvements.
