Piedras Blancas Light Station Tours
Due to the sensitivity of cultural and natural resources, visitation is by guided tour only.
Closed for Christmas and New Years holiday.
September 1st - June 14th tours are offered Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
June 15th - August 31st tours are offered daily except Wednesdays and Sundays.
(There are no tours on federal holidays)
Tours last 2 hours and feature the historic lighthouse, support buildings,
wildlife, plants and spectacular coastal scenery along an easy ½ mile interpretive trail.
Meet at the former Piedras Blancas Motel, located 1.5 miles north of the light station.
Arrive at the motel at 9:45 am. Do not wait at the gate to the lighthouse!
The fee is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 -17, no fee for children ages 5 and under.*

Volunteer tour guides show people around Piedras Blancas.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress warmly.
Small children should be carried or placed in a stroller.
Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Wheelchairs and strollers are available.
