- BLM Announces Temporary Closure of the La Junta Trail at Wild Rivers Recreation Area
- The closure of the La Junta Trail continues at the Wild Rivers Recreation Area. The BLM has completed a feasibility study on the stabilization and realignment of the trail. The BLM is actively seeking funding for the project. The closure will remain in effect until further notice. Please see the news release for more information.

- BLM Announces Temporary Closure of the La Junta Trail at Wild Rivers Recreation Area

Prehistoric Trackways National Monumen Community Pit #1 adjacent to the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument is closed for a safety Reclamation Project. As we move into Phase Two of the project, the roads and trails surrounding the community pit project area may have periodic limitations on access as remediation and reclamation occurs upslope.
