BLM to Host Upper Yellowstone Wild Horse & Burro Adoption Event in Livingston

The BLM Montana/Dakotas will bring 41 wild horses and burros to the Upper Yellowstone Wild Horse & Burro Adoption Event, taking place June 6-8, 2025, at the Park County Fairgrounds in Livingston, Montana.

BLM and Wind River Ranch offer adoption and free public day

The event, held at the Wind River Public Off-Range Pasture north of Lander, Wyoming, will run 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and feature approximately 20 untrained wild horses for adoption and free tours to see the resident wild horses.
