The Bureau of Land Management has postponed the May 14 public meeting of the Pinedale Anticline Project Office Board of Directors. The meeting was intended to review and make decisions on the 2025 budget and project proposals.

BLM is postponing the public meeting originally scheduled for May 14 regarding the future management of the Marton Ranch property.

The Bureau of Land Management has announced opening of the North Eagle Lake and Pit River campgrounds and the Hobo Camp Day Use area in northeast California for the warm weather recreation season. The campgrounds open Thursday, May 1; Hobo Camp opens Saturday, May 17.

With summer camping season just around the corner, the Bureau of Land Management will open Trinity River campgrounds along California State Highway 299, on Monday, May 5. Camp sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with campers depositing fees in campground collection boxes. The maximum stay is 14 days.

The BLM reminds visitors to expect traffic and trail congestion during the Easter Jeep Safari event, starting Saturday, April 12, through Sunday, April 20.  

The Bureau of Land Management asks recreationists and other travelers to steer clear of muddy roads and trails as spring snowmelt and precipitation have resulted in muddy conditions throughout our area.

The BLM conducted a geothermal lease sale, selling one parcel covering 1,677 acres in Fishlake National Forest for $6,912, with revenue allocated to the State of Utah, local counties, and the U.S.

The Bureau of Land Management will implement a five-day temporary closure of all public use from Oct. 2 - 6, for all 40,000 acres of public lands within Stoddard Valley Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Area in San Bernardino County.
