Today the Bureau of Land Management issued a decision and Finding of No Significant Impact resulting from the court-ordered additional analysis of 81 parcels sold during the June 2022 oil and gas lease sale in Wyoming.

Approximately 125,000 pounds of garbage were removed from more than 40 acres of public lands. The cleanups were conducted by contractors qualified to remove hazardous materials and other potential hazards.

BLM Newcastle to burn slash piles in Crook and Weston counties

The Bureau of Land Management Newcastle Field Office plans to burn slash piles this winter on BLM-administered public lands in Crook and Weston counties. Burning may continue as conditions permit through April 2025.
