Event Description

The BLM will hold two virtual public information meetings on the proposed vegetation management activities on public lands in Maryland and Virginia Tuesday, October 8. The first meeting kicks off at 4 p.m., and the second will begin at 6:30 p.m. Each meeting is expected to last for 90 minutes.

A presentation will review the proposed project, the environmental assessment process, and provide guidance for the public about how to submit comments through the BLM National NEPA Register/ePlanning. Immediately following the presentation, a Q & A session will provide an opportunity for the public to ask clarifying questions about the proposed project and how to submit comments. This will assist the public with providing comments on the proposed vegetation management activities at the Lower Potomac Field Station.

To participate in the 4 p.m. meeting, join via MS Teams.

To participate in the 6:30 p.m. meeting, join via MS Teams.

Public comments are only accepted through the BLM National NEPA Register and will not be accepted at the meeting itself.
