The Bureau of Land Management proposes a 1-acre sale to TAG Western Properties, LLC to allow resolution of inadvertent, unauthorized development of public lands by a previous landowner, currently operated by the proponent as an essential component of the adjoining ranch operations.

The BLM intends to prepare a Resource Management Plan amendment with an associated Environmental Assessment for the sale. This notice announces the beginning of the 45-day public scoping period.

The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
