BLM seeks input on proposed Castle Gold Exploration project near Tonopah

BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comment for the proposed Castle Gold Exploration project planned approximately 22 miles west of Tonopah in Esmeralda County. 

If approved, Allegiant Gold Ltd., could conduct phased exploration involving core drilling across 50 acres within the 1,658-acre plan boundary, all of which are public lands. 

Additional information, including the draft environmental assessment, is available at the BLM National NEPA Register, where comments may be submitted through the ‘Participate Now’ option or delivered to: Bureau of Land Management, Attention: Allegiant-Castle Exploration Project, 50 Bastian Road, Battle Mountain, NV 89820. The comment period will close June 11, 2025.
