CRAIG, Colo. – The Bureau of Land Management’s Northwest Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will conduct a field tour on May 6th commencing at 10 a.m. at the Grand Junction Field Office 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506. Attendees will visit target shooting areas and solar permit area within the Grand Junction Field Office. The tour is expected to finish by 3 p.m.

Members of the public are welcome on field tours but must provide their own transportation (high-clearance vehicle recommended) and meals. Individuals who plan to attend must RSVP no later than May 2nd at this link.

The Northwest RAC will host an in-person meeting on May 7th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, a virtual option is available. Register to attend the meeting and/or field tour with this link.

The May 7th meeting agenda is available online. A public comment period is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Individuals who want to make a statement during the public comment period are encouraged to also submit a written copy of their statement at the meeting for the administrative record.

The Northwest RAC advises the BLM Colorado Northwest and Upper Colorado River Districts including the Little Snake, Kremmling, White River, Grand Junction and Colorado River Valley field offices and the Dominguez-Escalante and McInnis Canyons National Conservation Areas.
