Wickersham Creek Trail
Wickersham Trail beings at the Wickersham Dome Trailhead. The trail follows a forested ridgeline with good views of the Alaska Range and the White Mountains. Trail will pass the junction with Trail Creek Trail at approximately mile 6. The trail will drop steeply at this point for 2.5 miles and then continues to descend gradually through spruce bog lowlands where it crosses Beaver Creek Wild and Scenic River.
The Borealis-LeFevre Cabin is located immediately across the river on a small bluff. This trail commonly has overflow ice in the winter and travelers should be aware. This trail is closed to summer use of ATVs from its intersection with the Trail Creek Trail all the way to the Beaver Creek corridor.
