Grandmother Mountain Wilderness Study Area

In Idaho, BLM manages over 17,000 acres of public lands in the Grandmother Wilderness Study Area. The terrain varies from heavily forested drainages to bare peaks and several high mountain lakes. Elevation ranges from 4600 feet in the Lund Creek drainage to 6800 feet on Widow Mountain. Prominent activities here include hiking, hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, camping and nature observation.
