Values

Dry escarpments and benches are deeply eroded by sheer walled canyons. Stark scenery is punctuated with hoodoos, balanced rocks and large coves. Water is scarce – but only until rainstorms produce the next flash flood.

Visitation Information

Located in the south-central portion of GSENM. North of State Route 89. Cottonwood Canyon Road (400) provides access to the western portion of Wahweap WSA. Nipple Creek Road (327) and Head of the Creeks Road (320) form the southeastern boundary of the WSA.
