WINNEMUCCA, Nev.— The public is invited to comment on a Preliminary Environmental Assessment for a proposed land conveyance. The comment period will be 30 days long.

The proposed action would convey via patent 40 acres to Humboldt County, Nevada for the construction of a new K-8 public school.  The community of Orovada, Nevada, is working with the Humboldt County School District, and has identified a parcel at the corner of Pine Grove Lane and Key Road, southwest of Orovada, as the proposed location for the school.
