BLM West Desert District and Salt Lake Field Office to close for building maintenance

SALT LAKE CITY — The Bureau of Land Management West Desert District and Salt Lake Field Office will close to the public for several days beginning tomorrow, Oct. 4, 2022, for building maintenance. Public services will continue to be provided curbside, by phone or by email.

“The BLM recognizes the inconvenience this temporary building closure poses to members of the public,” said BLM West Desert District Manager Michael Gates. “We are committed to continuing to provide exceptional customer service throughout this interruption and look forward to reopening our doors in the near future.”

The district and field office are collocated at 491 North John Glenn Road, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. The public can receive curbside services while the office is closed by calling the front desk upon arrival to the office driveway located on the south side of the building. A BLM representative is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
