CASPER, Wyo. – The Bureau of Land Management Casper Field Office will host the first ever Muddy Mountain Adventure Days at the Muddy Mountain Environmental Education Area located south of Casper, Wyoming, on Friday and Saturday beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 2:00 pm.

The event will feature free family fun including wildflower hikes, plant identification, mountain bike lessons and demonstrations, fly fishing lessons, campfire safety and camping etiquette, live Birds of Prey, atlatl demonstrations, and more.

“The Muddy Mountain Environmental Education Area is an ideal location to introduce Casper families to outdoor activities available on public lands,” said Katy Kuhnel, outdoor recreation planner for the BLM Casper Field Office. “The two-day event will encourage safe and responsible recreation with demonstrations and activities provided by a variety of partner organizations.”

Participants are encouraged to plan ahead and prepare for all Wyoming weather conditions and pack plenty of food and water.
