In that capacity, she helped to create innovative BLM educational programs and materials for youth, and represented the BLM on Department and interagency committees focused on youth initiatives. Prior to joining the BLM, Betsy designed youth programming and materials for several private educational organizations, including the National Geographic Society and the National Wildlife Federation. Betsy embarked on her new position in March 2010.National Partnerships Coordinator: Trevor Needham comes to the BLM from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), where he was the National Community Partnerships and Friends Coordinator for the National Wildlife Refuge System. Before joining the Federal government, Trevor worked for several prominent non-profit organizations, including the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the National Environmental Education Foundation (formerly the National Environmental Education & Training Foundation). Most recently, Trevor has been a participant in the USFWS Leadership Development Program. Trevor is scheduled to report for duty with the BLM on June 21, 2010.National Interpretive Lead: Brianna Candelaria joins the BLM Washington Office from Utahs Dinosaur National Monument, where she has been the Assistant Chief of Interpretation. Her prior experience included interpretive positions at the United States Holocaust Museum and several national parks. She also worked at the NPS Harpers Ferry Center, the agency's national interpretive design center, as well as the BLMs National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center.
