Off-highway vehicle use is limited within the Fortymile Wild and Scenic River corridor to protect sensitive resources:

• May 1-October 14: Use limited to existing trails by vehicles up to 1,500 pounds curb weight and 64 inches wide. 

• October 15-April 30: Cross-country travel is limited to snowmobiles up to 1,100 pounds curb weight and 50 inches wide.
