This week the GLO is visiting Carmel, Indiana. The City of Carmel is a little over 20 miles north of Indianapolis and, in modern times, is counted as part of the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area. The GLO website provides live access to Federal land conveyance records for the Public Land States, including image access to more than 12 million federal land title records issued between 1788 and the present.
