South Korean TV station receives interpretation of Three Rivers Petroglyph Site

On April 13, BLM Las Cruces District Archaeologist, Cody Dalpra met with Director and Producer Tae Joo Suel and his video team at the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site.

The team was permitted by the BLM to film the site for a documentary to be aired on Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) television and the internet via their YouTube channel. They are contrasting the petroglyphs at Three Rivers in comparison to those found in South Korea and other parts of the globe.

The team was taken on an interpretive hike across the peaks, as Dalpra pointed out various petroglyphs along the way and answered questions while being filmed. Mr. Suel also conducted a sit-down one-on-one interview with the archaeologist with a more in-depth Q&A on the Three Rivers Site. The team was also provided a fact sheet of the BLM and Las Cruces District.
