Record of the Week: Tucson, Arizona

This week, the team travels to the sunniest city in America, Tucson, Arizona! Aptly nicknamed, Tucson experiences an average of 350 days of sunshine a year. Originally developed as a small Spanish military base called El Presidio del Tucson, the city became a hub of the American southwest after the introduction of the Southern Pacific Railroad. The GLO website provides live access to Federal land conveyance records for the Public Land States, including image access to more than 12 million federal land title records issued between 1788 and the present.
