An estimated 250 people attended the Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program environmental impact statement scoping meeting in Fairbanks, Alaska; there were so many people wanting to voice their comments, organizers ran out of time!
Good thing that’s not the only way people can comment. Go to the Coastal Plain EIS website for an idea of the kinds of comments the project planners are looking for, as well as the email and mailing addresses you can send the comments to.
