Users will sign up with BLM and Polk county staff and provided a safety brief. Gooseneck Recreation Area is an open access road system, this area attracts a lot of unauthorized shooting and target areas. Volunteers will be provided a 5g bucket, garbage, map and personal protective equipment. The goal of the event is to fill the buckets with bullet shells, garbage in the bags and removal of large target debris. Bags and buckets will be tallied and weighed for a fun competition to determine who collected the most garbage and shell casings.

What should people bring- water, gloves, long sleeves/pants, snacks, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, eye protection!
