FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- BLM Eastern States will hold an information meeting focusing on a vegetation management draft environmental assessment from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 3, at the Lorton Public Library in Lorton, Virginia.
A presentation will review the proposed project, the environmental assessment process, and provide guidance for the public about how to submit comments through ePlanning. Immediately following the presentation, a Q & A session will provide an opportunity for the public to ask clarifying questions about the proposed project and how to submit comments. This will assist the public with providing comments on the proposed vegetation management activities at the Lower Potomac Field Station.
Public comments are only accepted through ePlanning and will not be accepted at the meeting itself.
